BEN ALCOTT

Ben Alcott began his career as a film and television child actor in Australia.  After making his TV debut at the age of 4, and his feature film debut at the age of 7, his interest in "the industry" was sparked.  

He began his first video production company at the age of 12, and before too long had produced a range of corporate projects, with early clients including Qantas, Visa, Disney, and Warner Brothers Consumer Products.

On his 16th birthday he began working in studio operations at one of Australia's three national commercial television networks, Network Ten.  Shortly after, he began working in live music video, shooting high profile bands including Aerosmith, Frank Sinatra, Billy Joel, Neil Diamond, Rod Stewart, INXS, and many others.

In the years since, Ben has produced and directed many thousands of hours of corporate, television, and live event projects in more than 65 countries around the world.  Highlights include conceiveing and directing MTV Networks Australia's first local commission "Freshwater Blue"; directing major acts including Mariah Carey, 50 Cent, Chris Isaak, Steel Panther and many others; and working with most of the world's celebrity chefs (including Jamie Oliver, Gordon Ramsay, James Martin, Rick Stein, Rachael Ray, Bobby Flay, "Cake Boss" Buddy Valastro, just to name a very few".   

Today, Ben is a globally recognised director, and has worked on many high profile events.  He is one of the founders of Damn Good Productions, a production company with offices in London, New York, Sydney, and Melbourne.
